Meet the pastor & family
Pastor and Wife - Christmas 2012
William was born to Lucy and William Jackson Sr. in Eufaula. His father, a devout Christian kept his two boys in the church. As a youth in his early teens, he began preaching and ministering at Solid Rock. After graduating from Eufaula High, he joined the U S Army to make a life for himself.
Angela was born to Gussie and James Daniels in Sylvester, GA. Her father wanted a better life for his family which landed them in Eufaula, AL. They made Solid Rock their church home. After high school, Angela also went into the military. In 1978, the two crossed paths again. And soon after, William and Angela wed on December 23, 1979.
With his family in tow, then Min. Jackson, traveled to Germany and Maryland following his career. He served in Iraq during Desert Storm. During his tour of duty in Washington D.C., Elder Jackson was pastor of Grace Gospel Fellowship and was ordained Elder by C.O.G.I.C. Elder Jackson retired after 20 years in the army in 1998.
They have 5 children: Sharonda, Clovia, Cherise, Jarvis, and Jaron. They are also proud grandparents of Jayla, La'Nautica (deceased), Sydney, and Nia. The family now resides in Cottonton, AL.
