Happy Holidays all! Remember the reason for the season and be safe. Yours in Christ, Elder William Jackson, Pastor
Matthew 11:1-30
Verse 30 - For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Please take everything to God in prayer. Don't let anything stand between Him and You Isaiah 41:10-18 Joshua 8:1-2
Fear thou not; for I am with thee be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will up hold thee with the right hand of my rightousness. Hear His word, believe His word and live. Direct my steps Lord, I will be satisfied. Exodus 14:13-20 Roman 15:4-6
Stand still and behold the salvation of God. Do not give up. Your help is on the way. Continue to confront your problems. Always be patient, dedicated, committed and submissive. Be Strong in the Lord! You can not help anyone if you are weak.
You will be moved by every wind, if you are weak. Not strong enough to put another man down. But strong enough to help someone up. Ephesians 6:10-18 Scholarship Program 3:00 pm Min Louise Conner - Children Obey - Esphesians 6: 1-4 Min Dorothy Shelton - Do the Right Thing - Luke 15:11-21 Christ wants our lives to reflect Him.
Utilize the Holy Spirit (living water) to show His reflection. Ezekiel 47:1-12, Isaiah 44:3-4, Joel 2:28, Matthew 5:16 o The Favor of God
In 1 Samuel 2:26, you find a child named Samuel who was strong and found favor with the Lord and men. It is good to have favor with the Lord and also with man. What is favor? Favor is when you have others' approval, they show you acts of kindness, and they regard you highly. 5 areas where you know you have the favor of God in your Life. - You will have abiding presence of God. - There will be tangible benefits in the lives of others around you. - The fingerprints of God will be left on the lives of others. - You will experience personal refreshing. - The works of your hands will be blessed. Samuel enjoyed the favor of God in his life, home, and the work of his hands. Don't we all want the favor of God in our lives? Of course we do! Psalms 90:17 says "Let the beauty of the Lord be upon us, and establish the works of our hands." Genesis 18: 1 -3, Abraham had the favor of God in his life and he was visited by 3 men in heaven. In John 14:23 says, if we love and obey him, he will abide with us. Because we have the favor of God in our lives, it will overflow and bless other people. And we when we have the fingerprints of God in our lives, other people around us will be blessed. And whatever we seek will come to pass. When we have God in our life, it will be refreshing like a summer rain. When we have the favor of God, whatever we do or set out to do, will be blessed. Closing: Hebrews 10:22 lets us know that when we have the favor of God in our lives we can come before him without fear and doubt, and ask whatever we will, and it shall pass. Dear Saints,
The Jackson’s would like to think you for all that you do. We feel the love that you show. And we promise to continue faithfully loving you. Our deepest concern is that you should prosper just as The Father desires. This has been a great year. And God has truly been good to us. He has kept us with a right mind and a right spirit. All we have to do is grow deeper and deeper in Him. He is, the only true wise God our savior, Christ the Lord. Draw closer to Him. When He comes, we should be just like Him. We are entering a new year. And we have survived everything that life has thrown at us. As Always, our thought and concern should still be on Him. He is a Jealous God. Putting Him first is a must. When we rise in the mornings, He is first. And before we go to bed at night, He is first. When trouble appears, He is first. When we are happy, He is first. In every circumstance, whether good are bad, He is first. God knows our situation that we are going through, or the stress that life put on us. And He will be there by our sides to see us through. New Years resolutions are not necessary. Just keep the vows we have already made. Let’s be more dedicated and committed to the will and purpose of God. Let’s go above and beyond the ordinary, total submission, total commitment, total obedience, to His perfect will. Go back to our first love. Renew our vows. Vow to live victorious and not die defeated. God be with you! Yours in Christ, Elder William Jackson Jr. |
